Meet Jariah

Hi, I'm Jariah!

Welcome! I'm so glad that you're here!

I have been a licensed massage and bodywork therapist since 2012. In 2020, I opened my practice here in New Bern, NC, and in 2022, I refocused my mission to specialize in the complex needs of those suffering from migraines, headaches, and chronic pain.

While I have recently updated my legal and professional name to Jariah Wilder, I am still the same dedicated therapist you’ve known—now simply moving forward with a name that is in alignment with my true, authentic self.

My Mission: Lasting Relief

My goal is clear: To give my clients lasting relief from migraines, headaches, and chronic pain.

My journey into this work began in 2011 after receiving my first professional massage. The instant relief I experienced was a revelation, sparking a deep desire to provide that same gift of healing to others. I graduated from the Indiana Therapeutic Massage School in 2012 and have since dedicated myself to mastering the tools that help people reclaim their lives from persistent pain.

I am always excited to help my clients get relief, especially when they have dealt with pain for years and after a few sessions they are finally free. Even better is when a client comes in with a migraine and by the end of their session, it is completely gone.

That is why I do what I do.

Over the years as a massage therapist, I’ve been given numerous nicknames by my clients.  My personal favorites are “Magic Hands”, “The Muscle Whisperer,” and “The Headache Meister.”

I believe in a "whole-body" approach to wellness. To provide the highest quality of care, I specialize in CranioSacral Therapy, having trained extensively with the world-renowned Upledger Institute.

Because I’ve found that complex issues and chronic pain require dedicated time to resolve, I focus on integrated sessions ranging from 75 minutes up to 3 hours. This allows me to blend therapeutic massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, Reflexology, and more. There is nothing more rewarding to me than seeing a client who has lived with pain for years finally find the relief they deserve.

Beyond the Table

When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me outdoors. I enjoy walking woodland trails and looking for unique fungi, enjoying the serenity of the beach while collecting seashells, or traveling to explore new places.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
